The lunch crowd is extremely bustling and our dinner crowd is often packed with office workers having a cold one before heading home. Facilities
Cuisine wise, we are the only legitimate japanese izakaya in the Biopolis area so lunch business is assured. However, in the last 2 years, we have 2 bars popping up that has been taking away customers by providing price advantages. We have since responded in kind and has won back said customers but have yet to see if there will be further price war.
Competition
With 7 years in operation, there is general wear and tear but simple to solve with upholstery of booth seats, repainting and changing of chairs. Some simple change in the general aesthetic should inject some freshness to the decor which should in turn bring in more customers and retain regulars to check out the place. Company wise, we do have projects involving established japanese brands to come in for extended pop ups, that should lend curiosity and marketing content to the space.
