Our Plan:
We have built a strong team and is ready to acquire some existing operations in strategic locations, integrate them and establish a chain of hotel/motel. Financially achieving good financial return with minimum asset risk.
Business Background
•We have an exceptional opportunity to establish a New Zealand based hotel chain with unified brand name, 10 or more hotels/motels located in 5 strategic locations. These hotels/motels can be bought below market value as they are either distressed, low/moderate occupancy rate, retiring owners or lack of marketing/sales capacity. •The New Zealand hotel industries is fragmented with many small, independent operators with minimum international marketing and sales management expertise and resources. Many properties were owned independently with low occupancy rates and cannot compete with few other established chains. •
How do we add value into current business?
•We will consolidate the operations by having common international brand name, develop centralised marketing & sales activities in key markets, establish relationship with key tour operators in APAC regions, deploy on line hotel management system, improve operation management and develop unique accommodation concept for key Asia markets; China and Singapore. •We will also explore other collaborative concept like farm stay, international holiday and educational summer program, group tour programs to leverage on the room assets during the low seasons. •We will enhance operational efficiency by best practices, putting partial sales accountability with operational staff, operation audit and cost cutting measures •
Investment Structure & Financial Performance
•Financially we have to be profitable from day one. Revenue will be enhanced through occupancy rate. Efficiency and quality of services will be improved through centralised sales effort and standardisation of operations. •We are looking at buying out 100 % or majority stake in each hotel. We may also explore to take over marketing & sales responsibility on some investment opportunities initially with option to purchase on predetermined interval.
